now i've been thinking about this for a while.... and when i checked the forum stats, it seems to confirm my concerns.
apparently, this board has over 4000 members. i am a member of a few forums, with both more and less than this amount of people and i know how these boards act. i can tell you, 4000 members do not post here. i would say at an estimate that less than 500 people post here. i'm not accusing silver of fudging the numbers, i'm just saying where are all those peoplewho are supposedly members of the forum???? maybe silver you could do a check of the members and see when's the last time they logged on? is that possible???

ush dont have as many as that coz they delete 100s of members each week. the ppl who become members and never post never log in stuff like that.
if this site has that many then ya can bet not all of them are posting or even using their accounts

i've been thinking the same thing ... i'm pretty sure that the majority of member accounts are inactive.

Aye that is true, dead accounts are deleted every week to improve database integrity.

Just go to the members page and look at how many people have just registered and then never posted, probably nearly 75%. Doesn't mean much though, 500-600 fully active members is nothing to be sniffed at.

yeah but it still shows that 4000 + people took the effort to log on and register and so must at least have a good bloody interest in happy hardcore ? Don't matter if they post or not.

People come and register once and never come back, most register and just read the posts or just want to vote in the polls. There is no policy that you "MUST" post. Also to use the DJ list features you have to be registered.
