u could do what id did and buy 2 turntables midi/asio combo bcd 2000 Hercules or DO NOT BUY LITTLE NAMES LIKE GEMINI I"VE TRIED THEM THEY SUCK if you want to go anywhere work up some money and buy either cdj 800s. 400, or 350s. it is the only way to go maybe denon if you like them more but you should stick with pioneer.for the time being practice your skills and do something with your money save it, invest it, ect. I am telling you this because i also have little money actually six monthes ago i had none but i worked and i have over 3k of dj and producing gear an NO loans unless you have a good credit score. wow i went on 4 a while

"Little names like Gemini"
Yeah, they've existed in the DJ industry since the 80s along with Stanton, Pioneer, and Technics. I'm no Gemini fanboy, but calling them "little" because you prefer Pioneer than anything else is just being bias, and that's never good for a person who is asking for input on what he or she should spend their money on.
In any case, I've tried out for a bit what you were looking at Shin and the CDM 3160 is a pretty basic and standard piece of dj gear. One thing though, since you're now using a midi controller, will it be wise for me to assume you do not have a sound monitor or PA system? If you don't, you should know you'll need something else to go along with the CDM so you can use it all on your computer. I'm not sure if a PA system is absolutely needed for you to even properly use because when I tried it, it already was hooked up.
If you can afford to burn the tracks you have on a cd (or individual cds), then I say go for it. I hear more complaints about its lack of effects than it breaking down on people. If you don't want to burn everything and want to use it similar to what most DJs do with Serato or Scratch Live, I suggest waiting for a couple of more paychecks, and then buy it.
In short, it really just depends what you're planning to use it for. Its basic, decent, and good if you're on a budget.
