to create a half decent tune on fruityloops cus i used cubase at college the over day and oh my god did it give me a headache how hard can these people make a software to use whereas fruityloops is a peice of piss but all ive heard is disses about it.

Its possible to create decent tunes on absolutely anything.... its whats best for you. Get a demo of Floops n try it. I havn't tried it since the very original version came out, n didn't like it, but these all-in-one studio thingies like reason n rebirth etc don't suit me that well.
As for Cubase, I found it most uncomfortable to use, and then discovered Logic which suits me down to the ground (until the ****ers sold out to Apple lol). A mate of mine had similar probs with both Cubase and Logic and finds Cakewalk/Sonar the sequencer of choice for him. Best bet is to get demos of a few different sequencers n try them out for size.

yeh i might get sonar some time in the near future as it was the sequencer we used at school a couple o years ago....it was pretty simple but we didnt go into using vst'i's and vst plugins with it we just sequenced the samples and made cack.

fuk that money is tight and i wanna produce for fun if i bought equipment i'd be skint and still clueless on how to use it ........no point jumping from first division to premiership now is there.
