Hi! Im making a collab with a friend and I ade a deep synth for it.
The problem is some annoying noise. I not talkin about the SHH noise that can easily be removed using BandPass, but some other high-freq noise which makes my deep synth sound like crap.
First I thought its compressor, but then i found out problem persists even if i turn it off.
I tried 2 remove some unique frequencies, but I just couldnt find the right one. I expect it might be around 15000 Hz.
We also had super-high freq removing filter but it didnt help.
HERE IS THE EXAMPLE: http://soundcloud.com/dj-cruelcore-neo/troublesynth-3 If u know whats the problem and the solution, please tell me! Song must be published till tomorrow evening and I still didnt get how 2 fix it! Thanks. I hope I get ur answer soon.

If ure referring to the "15000 Hz" thing, sure, i can remove all freq. around 15 kHz and ruin my synth.
The problem is, 15000 Hz is just an approximation. But i still dunno the exact freq and I wasnt able 2 find it. I can always use low indent but Im risking my synth quality then. And I cant do that.
I wouldnt be asking a question if i knew the answer.
So im asking if theres another solution. If not... Is the synth sound so bad in your opinion?

Without knowing what synth you're using it's difficult to tell but with some synths there is the option to add 'noise'.
That's what it sounds like and no amount of EQ will remove it without destroying the sound you've created.
Check to see if the sound you're using has 'noise' activated and deactivate it if that's the case.

No noise. Its 3x Osc in FL Studio. No noise adding here.
FX: Flanger, Multiband Compressor, Parametric EQ, Gross Beat, Reveerb, Delay..

Have you tried systematically removing each element to eliminate the nastiness?

yeah, the Multiband Compressor. But the problem persists.
Freq has been produced by 3xOsc itself and being shaped by Flanger so it could be the Flanger, but i can do NOTHING about it.

....mmnm? Can you manipulate each oscillator separately and try to eliminate the problem?

Sounds to me like an oscillator has a bit too much filter resonance.

It sounds like you have some kind of notch filtering (or band pass) going on there or something like that. Such extreme EQ curves can bring odd changes in sound.
Personally if the problem is really that much of a hassle i would just re-program the sound from scratch to eliminate it.

sorry 4 the late reply.
thanx, guys! So u think its the EQ and stuff? OK, I'll take care about it for future ;).
But unfortunately, it's been released a few days ago cuz we were in a hurry.
We've managed 2 fix a good deal of the problem and killed some synth quality by the way. But its sounds good IMO.
Thanx again! Have a nice day!
