It sounds better than some of my other tunes. The kick sounds mor in place so let me know what you all think. 90s style tune. Cheers

What sequencer are you actually using that enables two samples to be played at different tempo's?

^^ thats not such a hard feat to accomplish if you use grooveagent1 or battery

more the question of why you would you want to listen to something thats out of time
is this not the same sample as you showed us a year or more ago, and its still not in time..

I'm surprised that you're still trying with this track this and still getting it wrong. It's not hard to get the samples in time, I seem to remember sending you a detailed guide on how to get them in time.

Smoogie, if your on FL8 I'm astounded to how your getting it so wrong.

You know what beats and bars are right? 4 beats in a bar. Kick on every beat. The sample your using should be either 1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 bars long I should think. It should fit into the grid. Remember to get your tempo right. You want it set at around 170, if its at the default 140, then thats another area where your going wrong.

I was going to upload a very basic FLP with the default plugins to explain the fundamentals of the program, but I dont have time.

Tell you what, PM me your FLP file and I'll fix it for you and hopefully it'll help you on your way.

Is the synth a loop? You need to change the time of it. Open the sample and put it on the play list. Then open the "channel settings" on the loop, and you should see a "time stretching" box. The third wheel "time" needs to be dragged, as you drag it the length of the sample on the playlist changes, you want it to be either 1 bar long 4 bars long or 8 bars long, depending on the original length of the loop. That should put it in time with the kick.

no. it doesn't sound okay. it sounds heinous.

fl studio has lines that mark a beat and a bar. Of all the people ive helped with production ive never seen someone make something out of time.

obviously you've just dropped some stab melody sample and whacked it over a kick drum and tried to call it a tune. it's not.

I thought they were just being hard on you about this, but then I actually listened to it. Um....yikes dude. It sounds like you layered two loops and called it a "tune." This makes the basshunter wanna be's on youtube look good.
