im clearly missing a setting here, but if i make a track at 170bpm (fixed), and then 30mins later i decide i actually want it to be 176bpm and i switch the tempo to 176 (fixed)
i punch in 176..and the click changes to 176, whilst the project seems to stay at 170
what am i missing? lol

have you tried creating a tempo track, adding a point to its envelope at the beginning of the project, and setting that point to 176?

a tempo track isn't required or anything, 'twas a more of a workaround that i suggested since i don't have access to my cubase box :)

Seriously doubt this is the problem but make sure the clock source is internal.

Don't have 5 myself only SX3. Just done a quick google and found this answer (post number 3) to something similar (that I can see): http://www.cubase.net/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?p=946054&sid=b5b9e689d87db93ca4c6c0108ce7a0a6 Might work, might not, who knows!
