except i dont really hear more like this which is a shame...
First one sounds like sort of dark drum n bass a bit like noisia and stuff, I'm not really into thick whirring beats in any genre to be honest music > bass is always a must for me!
Second one sounds like really mainstream dnb like pendulum, DJ fresh etc.

isn't that particular style of dnb called jump up? there's plenty out there. found some on TID altho what sux is that they'll also fit some tracks into 1 or 2 other subgenres of dnb

I very much agree.
But yeah this style of DnB your hearing is just the main style really. Second one is really mainstream though like Pendulum. Look for Jump Up mixes and you'll be sorted.

DnB is great! I like all types really; liquid, neurofunk, jump up, the darker stuff, etc. Hell, even so-called clownstep can be amusing. Here's a video from each of the styles I listed, in the same order ;D

if y'all didn't know, DJ Ham now produces DnB mostly jump up style under the alias Hamilton. He's got 4 singles on Frequency records available in most digital stores. Pretty good stuff
