I'd like to know where I can get full synth and Drum machine vsti's for free or very cheap. Can you get any of the Roland's on vsti?

Computermusic put out a special edition issue on VSTis which came with a cover CD with about 24 awesome VSTis and some great tips inside for producers, too.

Look into backordering it on computermusic.co.uk, it's only a couple months old.

As far as free audio stuff is concearned, there are MANY sites to visit, but my main reference to anybody is www.dontcrack.com which has TONNES and TONNES of free stuff for you to enjoy...

ps: (and,yes, I am NekroBat, the creator of LaborOsc Vsti for anyone interrested...)

yeah the mastering addition of Computer Music has allot of videos and tutorials along with free mastering basics. Eq, compression and limiting mainly.

I recommend buying Computer Music Magazine. The magazine is really good with lots of tips and tricks. You'll also get a CD with about 7 GB of free samples and software. :)
