Sometimes Mash-ups are epic win! some times they arent!
i came across this amusing gem on youtube a few days ago
(doesnt have to be hardcore, in fact probably better if it isnt! - hense posted in "other genre")
Sonic The Hedgehog Vs Lady Gaga - Poker Reef (Music From Sonic and Knuckles - Lava Zone)
so, have any favourites you fancy posting? if you embed, remember to put the original link too - so wilky doesnt have a cow ;)
*edit* interesting info for anyone interested - if you right click on the embedded video, you can select "Stop Downloading" that way when you click other videos in the thread they arent slowed down by previous ones downloading! sweet jesus!

The oasis and greenday one made my ears bleed... poker reef was ok until the chorus, and I didn't even watch the ghost that feeds because they used the video from world's apart and I have no idea why.

I need to buy meatheads tips for healthy forum trolling so I can be more successful at this...
I took another listen, it's not so terrible as I had decided in the first 15 seconds last time, but I still don't like it. That high pitched clicking sound throughout the song rattles around in my skull and drives me absolutely mad and the vocal shifts annoy me as well. That all boils down to "I don't like mashups" I'm sure.

I like how you can't stop thinking about me. It's sweet.
The Oasis Vs Greenday is actually in key. The gated guitar part at the beginning doesn't sound it but it is. It wasn't brilliantly put together but it was in key. Poker Reef clashed, a lot, and it wasn't always in time. Ghost that feeds was ok. But i still don't like mash ups, they're always worse than the two original tracks used to make them.
Oh and my tips aren't for sale.
