I know we have talked about hardcore video game music on here before, but I need some sample and stuff to make my own!

And posting any newer hardcore video game music would be cool to. I have trouble finding it.

Thanks

So you want to make hardcore chiptunes?
Chiptunes=old school game music
Look into chiptunes.

If you want to get some of the samples or anything this is what i can say.

****make sure you own the game****
I got to say that on here *cough cough*
After you own said game, go get the emulator for the system (like snes, nes, gb, ect).
Find the rom of the game that you own.
Have some audio recording software on your computer and have it running, like audacity.
After the game is running, go into the "audio" tab, most all emu have them.
Stop all layers but one, see if thats the sound you want (for like when a spirit jumps, ect)
Record it, and jump a few times to get the sound.
Cut it and slice it.
Export it to a .wav or .ogg

And thats how you do it, if you want them yourself, or just google like crazy for sample packs.

Need anymore help just ask :b

I think the fad has passed now (praise Allah). You may aswell make some Electro-core too.

I read about samples from Half-Life 1 and 2 on DoA if that would be of interest. I'll link if I find them, but not tonight, because it's late and I need my beauty sleep.

Later!

Grabbing a copy of Peach should be your first stop. ;) It's a freebie synth that is amazing for Nes styles leads.
