How do make good/popular choonz? Give the people what they want!
But the question is:
What do the people want?
Happy Uplifting Feel? A hard track thats pure energy? A trancier track?
Any info from producers and ravers alike would be great!!

Stick with what you like. Sod whats popular etc. Your music will sound better if you make the sound that you like best rather than what other people like best.

Bottom line is everyone wants something different, so do what you want to do. There are bound to be lots of people who will be feeling it too.

emotion is foundation. or so they say, i mean, how happy must nakatomi have been to make children of the night??? if i dont feel happy, i dont make music. or rottadam *evil face*
If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?

Well, I'm a pre-dominately happy person. And the music that I write, (be it happy hard, rap, drum & bass or big beat) is also quite happy (with the odd exception of gabber/speedcore).
But I guess, I want to write a choonz that will "go off".

Make some '96-sounding stuff - I'm sure you'd be popular for doing that :)

I recommend you start to DJ (or become good friends with one), you will know what makes the crowd excited and you will know what tunes you like...

The only DJ's I know, are the ones I've seen typing in this forum. Dammit!!
But emotion is the driving force of all my music. I guess I'll have to working hard!!
