I love this stuff but doesnt seem to be around anymore. Never seemed to be much to start with. Bas & Ram have pissed off to plain old trance, I havn't heard any new hard trance in a year or so. :(

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Its slowly twisted into Hardhouse..
Though tbh, it'll probably have another wave. Trance seems to have little moments where a certain style is favoured over others. Thats what I pick up from trance.nu anyway

Hard trance is still around.. I was listening to a trance mix the other day and towards the end it was hard and pumping... Wasnt really expecting it from signum i think it was....
Hard house and hard trance are actually classed under the same hard dance banner... So one could say they are one of the same thing

Yes but its different with hard trance and hard house being classed as hard dance..
To a lot of people they can be mixed together and they couldnt tell u the difference. Hardcore and progressive trance couldnt be mixed together without a noticeable pitch change and one of them sounding totally wrong.

I know what you mean good hardtrance is virtually gone, although there still are a few people making it like it used to be. This is what i think hard trance should be like....

I can't really say, I'm only now really digging into it... I would have to hope that it doesn't nearly die out like hardcore did.

This came up on another forum I use recently. A lot of the artists who where making it make Nu-Style these days.
Try JTB, Iain Cross, Wragg, K4NE, Zac Steele, Damon, Holocaust, Snort, Spacetek, Logger & Gnetic. There was a mix from Logger and Gnetic posted on here in the last few months. I'll upload it later if I remember, was mainly there tunes. Pretty decent.
There is still a reasonable UK scene but it's moved a bit more underground.
