This is an extremely stupid question. But i'm looking for a good plugin synth that's capable of that arpy supersaw lead you hear in a lot of builds during the drop. That one sound with the bassy warmth when it's lowcut. best example I can give is in Impacts track addiction. Vanguard is way to thin for me, and Nexus has no synth capabilities so it's sorta terrible for this shit. I'm thinking it's done with layering. any ideas?
basically the sound i'm looking for starts out real plucky and warm and builds into a supersaw using lowpass filtering. The synth sound obviously has a low pass that cuts off the decay and release of the sound.
Edit: i'm using Ableton live 8

Sylenth. Though most "big name" synths will be able to produce the sound you require but yes most probably will be layered.
