The 4 Track Vinyl is available to Pre-Order for delivery on Wed 31st March at all the usual on-line record stores inc happyhardcore.com: http://shop.happyhardcore.com/View/28210/ * * * * * The wait is over! The long awaited first official release from much loved UK hardcore brand, production house and now label Trackmaster Music (TMM) is finally set for a March release date, featuring four brand new tracks from TMM co-owners and operators Cruze & Breaks, that also features the vocal talents of well established UK hardcore vocalist Donna Grassie - plus a remix from industry super star Joey Riot to boot! The EP, which includes two bouncing tracks on the flip that have, combined with the A side content, become main stay anthems in all of Cruze & Breaks sets at events all over the country and abroad. This slamming EP will be released on 12 vinyl and digital 320k MP3 at all good record stockists and digital download stores where UK hardcore music is sold this March and April respectively. Kicking off with A1 is Lethal Theory co-owner, Producer, remixer and international hardcore rock star Joey Riots take on an already fresh original. Adding momentous build-ups, that trademark Lethal lead and a throbbing, chugging bass line that provides the foundation for a filtered, futuristic hardcore monster, full of beats and kicks and plenty of synth making good use of Donna Grassies original vocal. Joeys remix serves as a brilliant addition to the remix collection and builds upon the already exceptional work of Cruze & Breaks original (also included in the package) making for both a great peak time anthem and a must have addition to any Riot fans collection. On A2 - DJ & Producer partnership, as well as label management Cruze & Breaks present the original You Should Know, featuring the superb vocal input of scene legend Donna Grassie. Starting with an immediately crazy hook as the track builds with a bouncy excitable feel to it, then accentuated by effects and active hardcore bass lines quickly clearing into the catchy break where Grassies vocal work becomes evident as she provides an easily euphoric, sing along vocal that reminisces of her earlier old skool happy hardcore contributions back in the day. This is then brought smack bang up to date by Cruze & Breaks melodic, spirit raising kicks and stabs that are just choc full of bouncing energy that marks quite simply an excellent debut for the label. On the flipside, AA1 presents us firstly with Cruze & Breaks own cheeky re-take on the classic symphonic works of one Ludwig Van Beethoven, aptly re-titled Beat Oven. Taking a traditional classical melody and giving a good kick into the millennia by way of some heavy bass, some great percussion and a general UK hardcore for the now re-touch, Beat Oven is a nice little number that immediately picks up the pace and elevates the atmosphere anywhere its played. Whilst AA2 Phat Track is another release, like Beat Oven of a rave fuelled Cruze & Breaks work that both artists have been ripping up events with up and down the UK. Phat Track once again is a hybrid of the great classic happy hardcore sound, with a new, fresh, inviting and addictive energy to it and previously featured on the excellent Hardcore Addiction 1 compilation. Phat Track is a tune thats sounding big, with a break you could have sworn you already raved to in the 90s, and thats just what makes it so magical. All four works are of course the creation and hard work and focus of Cruze & Breaks, who initially started the TMM movement in 2006 when the two collaborated for the first time and started working together on a number of massive tracks that have since seen releases through other labels such as Track Masters, Electro Hardcore, Watch The DJ, Scratch Attack, Can You Feel It, Everybody Wants To Be A DJ and Speaker Shake on Robbie Longs TNC label. Since that time theyve joined with focussed breakthrough talent MC Friction making the partnership a three and have also been releasing music like Rockin To The Flavour recently on Revelation Digital. Their work also is apparent on a number of compilations including 15 Years Of Hardcore, Hardcore Underground 2, Hardcore Addiction 1, Sound Of Hardcore 2009 and Cruzes very own mix CD along with Breaks on Disc 5 of the Crush On Hardcore 4 compilation. The tracks have also gained pre-awareness through Cruzes regular weekly radio show on Krafty Radio, the UKs biggest online UK hardcore themed station, which he hosts every Wednesday at 7pm via http://www.kraftyradio.com, then occupying his weekends on club lands main stages (often hosted for his part by Friction). More information on gigs, releases and Biographies for all three artists can be found via the links below. 2010 marks a new direction for the trio, with all new music as well as many anthems from their sets at events such as HTID, Fusion, Hardcore Heaven, Ravers Reunited and many others finally seeing an independent release on this, their very own label the first release of which is this fine EP we bring you today. The Trackmaster Music EP Four tracks of original, upfront greatness supplied by two very talented producers, one internationally adored DJ / Producer and a living legend in hardcore vocal work that is quite simply the first, of many. Grab yours on vinyl from 31st March at all good record stores and from May on all good digital download sites! Words: Jon Brown Label Artwork: Obie Comments Welcome :) cheers James/Brett/Phill
