No worries mate, always enjoy giving your tracks a listen!

Well, I don't hate it.

Up until 1:30 it's all well and good but then the lead sound comes in and, imo, the melody is.... bleh!

Uninspired, unimaginative, typical modern Hardcore lack of.... satisfying notes.

(....possibly because most of the satisfying notes/melodies have been done to death in the past and, in an attempt to be 'different',

the current crop of producers are left with these 'unsatisfying notes/melodies' that were previously rejected )

8-/

I could be wrong.

Don't be despondent, just improve the main riff and post up a link to the improved version.

Not despondent at all!

On that note, Nu Foundation recently played this out on a stream, and this will be appearing on Nukleuz Hardcore Podcast Vol. 6 :D! Really happy with the support this is getting!

I have to agree Ionosphere, the melody just doesn't pop! A few ideas I can suggest right off the bat are having it jump up into the next higher octave in areas (if you're a good producer, you'll know where :3). Another is making use of chords. One thing you could do is toss in a piano over the lead that uses them. Of course, there's more you can do to it, I'm just throwing a few things out.

I love how "subtle" it is to be honest before the release. It just seems... peaceful. Not sure how to entirely describe it. But it works. There needs to be more hardcore like it.

I absolutely love how the snare drops out and the volume dips right before the release. I didn't see it coming, and it doesn't screw with the flow at all. I know this element has been used many times in music before, it's just I don't hear it often in hardcore... at least, in the way you did it.

Starting out at 0:44, I imagine it's just me, but the harmonics of the synth that comes in there really bugs me. It sounds better during the release though.

Thanks for all the feedback Rayovac! Truth be told I am happy with the way it is, and I feel if I keep adding extra stuff to it it's going to get over complicated.

Like I said on soundcloud... The breakdown is lush and you've used that vocal in a way I haven't heard before...but the lead could be better.

Others here seem to be echoing that so I may not be crazy :p

Thanks dude :) I've tried working with the lead but thing is I always end up going back to my usual leads: big ass in your face saws. I approached this project with subtilty in mind, and something like that would just ruin the vibe imo.

I'll keep at it, but as I said before I'm rather happy with the way it sounds already!
