Party DJ's
DJ CHUCKY
DJ CHUCKY is the manager of the Hardcore specialty store GUHROOVY located in Shibuya
and also works as a Hardcore DJ, producer, and organizer.
Hes been managing the labels GABBADISCO, Humanoid Typhoon, X-TREME HARD, and
many others since the year 2000. Through these labels, hes released many remix CDs and
compiliation albums. Besides that, hes also had releases with overseas labels such as
Canadian Speedcore Resistance (in Canada) and COCK ROCK DISCO (In the United States)
and has made songs for the home versions of the Beatmania IIDX music game series.

DJ DA/LE
Da/Le is the owner of AVSS, a Doujin-Music centered Indie label. He has also organized
many parties in Japan and performs live as both a DJ and VJ.
He is also inviting/looking for new talented Artists to join the AVSS family and lineup.

Over the course of his involvement in the J-Core scene he has hosted 60 parties, and
appeared in over 150 more. Hes also overseen the release of more than 50 CDs and 1 vinyl
EP for worldwide distribution.

GUHROOVY
Hardcore Artist GUHROOVYs specialty is Shibuya Hardcore Techno. he is the president of the
record shop GUHROOVY that has stores in Shibuya and Harajuku.
GUHROOVY came to America in 1980 as a singer. He was motivated by the Hard Rock, Heavy
Metal, and Hardcore that he heard in Los Angeles. After he returned to Japan, he became
involved in the Japanese Hard Rock and Heavy Metal scene dominated by groups such as X
JAPAN. In the 1990s, he once again got inspiration, this time from the Jungle music I heard in
the U.K. and the Hiphop I heard in New York.
and then began his solo career as GUHROOVY. He was featured in beatmania GOTTAMIX in
1998 and has since made several songs for Konamis music games such as: beatmania IIDX,
popn music, and GuitarFreaks & DrumMania.

He and NO+CHIN are currently working together as the unit Groove Rockers. Hes also in
charge of the band ANIplugged, which performs unplugged versions of anime songs.

He started the shop GUHROOVY in the streets of Harajuku in 1995. It opened as Japans first
Mixtape/CD specialty store with connections with New York DJs. This year they will celebrate
our 15th anniversary and continue to release Hardcore music.

GUHROOVY says HARDCORE isnt a music genre, its a lifestyle.

JAKAZID
JAKAZiD is the nickname of 21-year-old dance music producer, remixer and DJ, Josh
McInnes. Since an early age Josh was obsessed with dance music so it was only natural for
him to want to start producing it himself eventually, and thats exactly what happened. But
what does JAKAZiD mean? Is it a foreign word, an acronym, or possibly something you can
chew? The answer is actually neither of these, and is somewhat of an enigma.
In his first year of being signed to Nukleuz, JAKAZiD has made a number of remarkable
achievements. Making an appearance on FOUR top-selling UK hardcore compilations, playing
a highly successful gig in Japan, remixing for artists such as Lisa Pin-Up, Niels Van Gogh and
Koja Yukino and then becoming hired as a regular in-house producer for Nukleuz are just a
taster of whats in store from this young and talented DJ and producer.

M-PROJECT
M-Project started making music in the year 2000. Hes worked to spread the Spanish style of
hardcore music commonly knows as MAKINA and is currently managing four hardcore labels
including MOB SQUAD TOKYO and TERRAFORM MUSIC. Through a variety of genres, they
seek to give chaotic performances of hardcore sounds, and we of course appreciate our
overseas fans.
The worldwide appeal of this music was shown as in the consecutive years of 07-09, as
MAKINA and BIT MUSIC, the largest hardcore label in Spain, teamed up at one of Americas
largest anime conventions, ANIME CENTRAL.

Also in 2008, M-Project provided a remix for L.E.D.s DENJIN K album (KONAMI) which was
released on March 5th. From November of the same year, he provided music for beatmania
IIDX 16 EMPRESS, beatmania IIDX 17 SIRIUS, and jubeat ripples as well as becoming
increasingly more active in the international dance music scene.

NO+CHIN
Member of the Hardcore Techno specialty store GUHROOVY located in Shibuya, Tokyo. As a
singer and Club DJ, he produces music that transcends musical genres and national borders.
As a ragga artist, he has provided songs for Konamis beatmaniaIIDX, popn music, Guitar
Freaks & Drum Mania, DDR, and jubeat. As a club DJ, he was the chief DJ for GASPANIC
YOKOHAMA from 2002 to 2005, and the chief DJ for GASPANIC SHIBUYA、ROPPONGI from
2005 to 2006. Currently he plays at many different places in the Yokohama area.

He has appeared at the large car customization show AUTO SALON at the GOOD YEAR booth
since 2009. In February of that same year, he performed at the TOYOTA Lexus RX Museum
Certified Caro van event. He has been performing at ACEN since 2007 and this year will be
his 4th consecutive appearance there.

DJ SHARPNEL
DJ SHARPNEL (sharpnelsound) is an influential and well-known Japanimated hardcore, or
gabber, group formed in Tokyo, Japan. In 1996, Jea started his first own hardcore project
named Project Gabbangelion in west side of japan. In 1998, after his move to Tokyo ,
sharpnelsound was formed.
Over 300 tracks have been released under sharpnelsound since its inception, and its sounds
have had influence all over the world. DJ SHARPNEL regularly performs at X-TREME HARD
with M-Project, DJ CHUCKY and other top hardcore artists from japan in tokyo.

Recently DJ Sharpnel has created some major label remixes including but not limited to ones
for Daichi no Uta, Tamble girls and other game music. DJ SHARPNEL delivers the most
impressive ANIME-HARDCORE experience over 200bpm with the chaos of high density
hardrave sounds.

DJ SHIMAMURA
DJ Shimamura is a pioneer of the Japanese hardcore scene, having set up one of the first
Happy Hardcore labels in Japan, DYNASTY RECORDS.
In 2005 and 2007 his remixes for Japanese pop artists achieved record sales which gained
him recognition outside of the hardcore scene, and this has led him to produce music for the
video game industry as well. During this time he continued releasing vinyl and has mixed
various compilation cds such as Dancemania SPEED and TRANCE RAVE which were all big
sellers in Japan.

In December 2007, 2 of his tracks were included on the Nukleuz CD compilation, Hardcore
Adrenaline 3′. One of the tracks, Cant Hold Back (DJ Shimamura Remix) was played on
Radio 1 by DJ Kutski and also featured in Kutskis Top 5 Chart in M8 Magazine.
