Yo. I've been following this product for a while now, and I was wondering what your guys' take on it is.

I do recall a post on Atomsk's Cheap Gear thread on staying away from All-In-One mixers, and I've noted that. I have seen some reviews with people very pleased with it, with problems that are 'easily solved with a software update'. It runs for about $700.
Thoughts on All-In-One mixers? The product?
Also open for suggestions of a completely new recommendation, for I do have a pretty old (20+ years?) mixer that's still working and earphones and all that. Just turntables that play CDs and MP3 CDs with similar price range would be cool.

never used it personally - but i would be a little warey of all-in-one systems

What is the bad thing about All-In-One mixers?

all in ones are more often than not cheaply made (in order to make the price look attractive)
but i would say the biggest reason is exactly the same reason as why you shouldnt buy an all in one tv and dvd player these days.
if one part breaks, you have an entire unit that needs replacing/you cant just replace one cd deck, or send one cd deck off for repair. problems with all in one units often effect the entire setup as its all been integrated.
its a toss up as to which of those is the worst factor
as for this product, i cant comment other than that i would be warey of all in ones.

Those are good reasons... I can see it now... crap. Any recommendations?

Well now...
Was doing my AP US History homework. Dad asks me to go help him move some furniture to shampoo the carpet. I pull out an inflatable bed from underneath a crib he asked me to move. And I find this.
Well... I'll be talking about the product on here I guess. Not much more to do since I own it now. ^^ Thanks mom and dad!
