your secret is safe with us!! just make sure you pay for them, financing can bite you in the ass.

if i were you, i'd get some good used ones that would function just the same at around half the price. that's just me though (i'm fine with someone else's used old stuff, some people prefer brand new. your call bro).

check craigslist or something. i got a pair of used technics for $400 canadian, for both.

that's way better than the $1000 or so you'll pay from some store. sure, mine have a few scuffs, but you can't hear that in a mix which is what you're using them for.

We'll see... Yeah I would like new, but "Open Box" is pretty straight,
http://www.audiolines.com
hooks me up nicely, they'll sell a Display Model for half the price...

I saw on ebay a pair (used) for $350 (Buy It Now), but I doubt it was for the pair, the seller never got back to me!, The Pic was of one but he was mentioning two available... If I had the Money right now, I would've pounced on that!, A Steal!

yeah you can get used ones cheaply i got a 1200 MK2 for 103.99 GBP including delivery from http://www.amazon.co.uk in perfect working order just needed a new foot & the ground wire was abit short, easy & cheap enough to replace. plus its got no big marks or scruffs so all good, it even came with a Technics headshell & Stanton 500 AL-II cart & stylus which i sold on eBay for 25 GBP & two slipmats so if you take that off what i paid for it i paid 78.99 GBP :o)
