anyway been ages since i posted the only other sample ive ever posted on here,so thought id clip the tune im doing to see what a few people thought whether it should be finished or not...
anyway the track was a trance track i started in november and made a hardcore mix of it..but since then one of my moniters broke so dont have speakers to listen through so most of the tune is made through 20€ headphones

sounded very well produced, but its not my type of hardcore at all. But nice one anyway :)

Sounds good. To say it was made on shitty headphones really good, but yeah, musically, it's not my thing.

Nice tune with a unique flavour, well worth finishing in you ask me. Some random thoughts in chronological order:
0:27 Nice little lead line coming in.
0:39-0:56 Good job on those transition FX, nice use of the flanger, which is a surprisingly underused effect in hardcore. I also like the gated noise FX fading out.
1:10-1:25 Again, great transition, but the drop is somewhat unsatisfying after the buildup.
1:58 Not sure about the timing of that second breakdown, might come a bit too soon.
2:30 You might want to beef up that breakbeat with some distortion, but that might just be personal taste, since many new hardcore tracks have similar sounding breaks.
3:14-3:31 This transition is a bit overproduced for my taste: you sprinkled lots of neat tricks and FX in there, but somehow it ended up being too complex.
3:31- I like the main lead line and the gated synth in the background.

You're welcome, I know how helpful a second pair of critical ears can be, when you've spent far too much time on a tune to be able to be unbiased about it.
