It's really not my style of DnB as I prefer liquid and to be honest it's pretty tough to comment on the production due to how poor the myspace player is.

Not really my style tbh mate. It's hard to comment on production when it's through a myspace player, but you seem to have captured that old school style pretty well.

What's wrong with myspace player? If he had asked you to proffesionally analyse the mixdown then i'd see your point :P Even if it was a 56kbps mp3 you'd be able to comment adaquitly on the song.

Jerv yes? Sounds a bit random on the notes if I'm honest. and the bass and drums aren't quite working together.
Heard much better from you I must say. Sorry bud!

Random on the notes? its nothing random, its all in tune, and its just some simple regular minor chords, cant really see whats random. And i disagree about the drums aswell, think they fit great togheter. And ye I see none of u like this style of dnb anyways, check out the other tracks mostly liquidish style.... But thanks for the feedback anyway.

You have a very oldskool breaky thing going. DnB needs emphasis on drums & bass. My suggestion would be to throw a loud 1-1/16 kick and snare on top of the break.
Lots of good producers (ex: Brookes Brothers) have the predominate kick & snare on top of their break in the back ground.

I did the break like that on purpose couse i wanted to in this track ive done lots of diffrent drums in many diffrent tracks, this is a amen drum and i wante dit with a jump up style bass thats why i did this track in the first place, and ye they might not de that dominant in this couse i tried to follow an advice from another guy about not using as much compression as i use to on the drums, and i think it sounds pretty good myself. And theres lots of diffrent syles of dnb man i listen to alot and i draw influences from lots of diffrent genres especially in dnb I listen to alot of atmopsheric dnb aswell as jump up and liquid, and i have lots of old skool influnces beouse i love the style. theres no law against using jungle type drums in new dnb, listen to some of the new tracks from original sin lke "kiss" and "your love" im just doing my own style of what i want to do when i do the tracks fromt he ideas not mimic any other artist:)
