is there a different term fir gabber that has melodic lead lines? I'm finding tracks that are a lot like hardstyle but with gabber kicks and stuff. unless this is what people call nu-style I want more of it

Yeah that's pretty much Nu Style. I prefer much darker stuff these days. All Nu Style is sounding the same.

I really liked catscan's design the future and korsakoff's daydream tracks for the melody line and I just got Tha Playah's new cd with some sweet tracks but some tracks have no synths what so ever. I don't know if I explained it well enough

wtf are you calling it gabber for? gabber is ****ed up happy hardcore from the 90's.... its just commercial mainstream dutch crap that your talking bout if your after stuff from tha playah or w/e...... yea tha playah is a good producer indeed but cmon.. grabbing a track from greenday and turning it into hardcore? why!? this 'dutch mainstream' as i prefer to call it rather then gabber is turning into commercial shit just like darren styles is making happy hardcore. get that into your frigging heads people ._. and STOP CALLING IT GABBER!! IT AINT!

It dosn't matter what it means to you. In England it loosely refers to all Dutch Hardcore regardless of what it means in Holland. People who actually listen to a good ammount of it (because it's just Hardcore at the end of the day) don't call it that but those who don't do. quote:

It's not though is it :P It IS Hardcore in itself, just the Dutch/rest of Europe's version of it.
