So I tried searching for a thread of the sort, but came up with nothing.
Figured I would start one!
Who here is a fan of Hard Dance/Hard Trance? I'm really into it now, because I like the trancier sound, but it's still really hard, and a pleasure to listen to. Some songs get really creative, while others take classics and they still sound great. Some are just funny to listen to (video two)
Sorry for all the videos, but I'm really into this genre right now.
I'm always locked onto di.fm Hard Dance, and always find really interesting songs on there. Then I write the name down, and go and buy them. I've found at least 30 songs I really like that way, plus You Tube.

Also check out some of the mixes on www.nuenergycollective.com. Some of the Kevin Energy hard trance mixes are great. I sometimes preffer his hard trance sets than his freeform ones (but only sometimes :)

love the old bas and ram, they gone soft and just do trance now. Had some wicked sounds going. the bells is pretty cool as well.
Dont know heaps about the hard dance side of things, but hese are a few gooduns from the past lost in nightclub folklore

Kai Tracid - Liquid Skies (you might just recognise this one, it took me a few mins to work it out).
jetset & plastic angel - lost in trance
Jetset - Island of dreams
These are old (90's?) hard trance tracks which are simply staggering. love them. If you like these search for "The Baptism Mix" by jon the baptist. trying to ID two tracks on there and can't find them anywhere, not even jtb could tell me. If you like that mix, you will also like a few mixes by CD SMEE. They are posted somewheres on here. think he goes by the username of ceedee1 or something. he has put a few hard trance mixes up. they are gold.
Also check out JTB & chucke's myspace - they got a few decent hard tracks out.
shockforce has also got some good stuff on the very hard side of trance. got a few things up on myspace as well.
to change it up a bit, check out Pavo's set at HMH 02/06/02 i think. is very hard, but still quite trancy. I always liked this set, even though I have always prefered the trance side of htings

Yeah i'm really loving it at the moment! Much prefer it to Hardcore at raves aswel. Although i'm more into older stuff (around 2000). I have some great sets from that perioud i can link you to.

speaking of which, the htid crew are heading over to knee of syd in late feb. however, the hard trance line-up is killer - il probably end up staying in that room instead of main all night.

also check out DJ Dean - a big german? dj who does good hard dance. I assume you have heard of Cosmic Gate as well, some of their stuff is sick - The Drums and Exploration of Space for two.

Yeah been pretty much through them already, got what I liked.
Kind of addicted to this song atm though, again, I like the trance side, but also love the hard side as well:
