Hey guys, newbie here :(
Just wondering if there was a way of using a BCD 2000 with a timecode vinyl + Virtual DJ

Also, I was wondering, when i try using my BCD with VDJ then it seems to freeze, but like the computer still runs, but the song stops playing etc.

Cheeers,

DJ Sprakie!!!

Dont know much about that controller, but have you tried TRAKTOR?
From what google brings up it should work, download the demo, or other ways and try

But you are using a controller or a input, so no timecoded stuff here, just usb lol

hey sprakie welcome to the site! :)

myself being solely vinyl..i dont know how much i could really help

but i think my question is...are you saying you want to control the mp3s with timecoded vinyl through the BCD2000 interface? and then onwards through VDJ?

thus skipping over having to buy a whole new interface? (serato/torq)

i dont think BCD2000 is designed to accept inputs...its more designed to control mp3s that are on your computer..

think you're gonna need the jiggermabox that goes between the pc and the decks :(

**edit** my god thats a shiney transparent gif lol didnt see that coming

see i just the way the system "flows" there, i dont think you can throw a BCD into the works :/

erm triggy nd atomsk.. thats all good but not for the bcd 2000... bought it recently and as far as i've tried it just works with the software supplied with it. virtual dj will crash because its not properly supported just yet. wrote some mails to behringer bout it to sort it for traktor as i love that software way more then the supplied crap lol :)

anyway sprakie i'd say just run the software supplied nd just switch to anolog if ya wish to connect ya decks to this controller. works fine really :) can adjust the pitch range in the software but thats not sumthing i'd advice :) pretty faked up if ya do so :p

also... i dunno wot usb controller you've got? be sure to get least 2.0 (yes theres still people with 1.0.. o my....) else you'll face a lot of these kinda stop/play problems or skippings..

hope that helped =]

Thanks alot guys! This has been very helpful.. but on the other hand not so helpful, cause it means that i need to spend more money :-( lol..

i've already tried the anologue too, i just wanted to save on the money rather than buying vinyls.

I've tried a few other software's, but the only one i found that works is the BDJ, which is awful might i add :-P

Cheers peeps :-)
