So after many months of DJing, i've come to the conclusion that i wanna learn how to produce.
theres one problem tho. i have no clue how to start.
Can Anyone give me some advice?

decent PC and a producing package.
ie, Ableton, Cubase, Reason, Fruity

Might as well start on the standard: Cubase 5 on mac or PC
Other options are Logic, Ableton, Sonar, Presonus Studio, FL Studio and Reason
