I was in St. Louis today with my school and we stopped at a mall.... i start walking with the girls that i with and what do i see.........i see a big sign that was "trance/club music sale" so im like "i gota see this" i go i and i havent heard any of these guys so i passed on like all the cds, most where trance or techno (witch i dont like) so im about to leave and at the register i see the cd for "clubland 16"
So im like "wth" and bought it, it was really really cheap... like $5 so i had to get it, so i was listen to it on the way home, and like all the songs are bad xD
Im on cd1, but there are a few good songs.... i like "ravers in the uk" alot for some reason...

There are are usually like 3 or 4 good songs, but I'm not too fond of many of them. I really like some of the hands-up stuff on it, but not really the club.

mmmmmm dunno why you put a regular clubland cd in the hardcore section lol!
i dont think i ever came across a techno cd in the states so thats interesting - all seemed to be house and trance when i did come across 'em in barnes n noble, best buy etc etc, like trance nation america, ministry of sound albums..
personally, im not fond on (2000+) commercial dance...alot of it sounds too much alike like it was all made on the same skeleton track...not much innovation, which is different to what it used to be back in the 90's.. ive only heard a few of the albums, and dont own any of them - most of the music on them (having picked up and looked at the tracklist in walmart *cough* ASDA, the songs have been played out on the radio the odd time ....
that said - i noticed that IIO - At The End (Michael Woods Remix) was on one of the earlyer clublands, and i was genuinely shocked at that, as its a very mature song, definatly not one that was built to be aimed at a kids audience that these cd's are aimed at..

Ahh I hate Ravers In The UK! Its so cheap how could you like it? I did get the CD though. To be fair its prob one of the better ones. Which is kinda sad really when you look at the amount of truly awful songs on it. I do actually like the "You're Not Alone" remix though.

The normal Clubland CD's are probably alot better than the Clubland Hardcore ones. The first couple of Clublands were pretty good CD's, some good cheese on them.
