I have a feeling that this is going to be porof-of-concept of why asking qeustions when extremely sleepy is bad idea, but screw it; I need to know. How do you reverse audio clips in cUbase 5?
thanks in advance.

not the same as cubase SX?
when the audio clip is in the project, right click on it > Process > Reverse
:)

Why? Are you both trying to say it's much easier in FL? Cos Cubase is a piece of piss and it doesn't have the drawback of having to use FL :p

cant see how you can make it THAT much easier than what cubase has
right clicking on a an audio segment and click "process > reverse" isnt the trickiest concept to grasp, though maybe it is for a FL user? ;)

never claimed FL users should have problems with that in cubase.. FL studio just has 1 button you light up and its reversed.. so basicly just as easy as cubase. overall people just find fl easier.. thinking cubase is better then any other is total ******** btw :)

yeah, except to access that button you need to click the channel/sampler, so it's actually no faster than Cubase
FL is easier to make drum patterns with but that's about it
The only hard part of using Cubase is setting up a sampler and routing the outputs

ive never claimed that cubase was better than everything else, or that its better than FLstudio
also i used FL for 3 or 4 years before i moved the cubase - you have to click on the channels button in the pattern first to bring up the plugin dialogue box then click that reverse light
(just pointing out you missed a step :) ) - though thats still easy
of course, doing it like that in FL though would also effect all the instances of that particular audio event - much like if you changed it in the audio pool of cubase...
*edit*
looks like dainja got in there a minute before i could ;)

Oh don't mind me though, proceed with your debate!

I was implying that Cubase was better than FL with my tongue firmly in my cheek (unfortunately there isn't an emoticon for that so the regular tongue out had to do) after your's and Nakks post seemed to be implying FL was better. Tbh the topic has been discussed to death "my Daw's better than yours" blah blah blah, who gives a shit.

Takes pretty much exactly the same amount of time to do it on either DAW :P

I love how posting a random comment can spark a debate.
