hmm.. as some here might know I basicly lost all my music (vinyl nd some cd's) and dj gear due to a house fire some years ago. After that I didnt really have the chance to afford nice gear again.
So looking around for whatever is on the market these days I ran into this:
http://www.ionaudio.com/icue The Ion Icue DJ-Controller. Basicly its a usb controller running on virtual dj (not my fav, prefer traktor actually). From reviews I've read it is about the same as using serato scratch. Ion seems to be the submark from numark so I have no doubt that the quality is fine. Yet when I contacted Ion about this device they've told me there is no headphone input so you will have to work your way around with virtual dj settings and soundcards to actually cue your tracks in your phones properly.. else they will blast the cue through the speakers.. no good hehe.. It does have an auto sync button but I prefer to avoid using that. Makes me become a lazy dj I guess. Does anyone have any experience with this device? I am thinking of purchasing it to atleast stay a little into the DJ'ing in times that my bookings aint to high and when I cant just go around mates who do have proper gear to practice my mixing more. It's pretty much all I can afford atm so hopefully anyone here has some nice review on it. I do know (from a phone convo with Ion) that they will release a sort alike model with phone-input in march 2010. But that wait is a little long imho. Let me know wot ya guys/girls think of this stuff :) Peace!

I don't like the idea of not having headphone support. It seems like a giant pain in the arse to have to config your sound card to give you audio out and audio in at the same time plus I'm sure with VDJ you need a particular type of card that lets you listen to two sperate channels at once (think that's what I remember).
