As already stated any turntable will play any vinyl. However, don't expect the sound quality to be very good on the one you have posted.

Actually a lot of turntables that are designed for general listening rather than DJing only play 33's. This one plays 45's as well so you'll be OK but it's something you have to look out for.

For that price you could probably get a cheap belt drive on ebay. You wouldn't have to worry about the revs per minute and the sound quality can be optimized by buying pro carts/needles. Also you would have the ability to adjust the tempo to what you like.

But would need an amp and speakers if you did it this way which adds to the cost.
If you can afford it, go all out and buy a full DJ set up ;-)

That much is true but I'm assuming that Justin doesn't live in the dark ages and has a stereo that has aux inputs. Providing he doesn't have one from the 80's he should be ok

You're probably right, I just assumed that he didn't have anything as was looking at an all in one. If he already has something with phono/aux inputs then your suggestion would definatley be the way forward rather than a stereo system with built in turntable.
Still think he should go the whole hog and get a pair of 1210's lol

No it won't support hardcore vinyl, because hardcore is simply too hard for it, the needle will break.
Ontopic though, 33ppm only players wouldn't be much of a problem anyway, would it? He said he wants to collect old school tracks, and pretty much all vinylsorz from back then are 33 as far as I know.
But I could be wrong!

You are wrong. ;) Going by what I've read of WC's tastes he will be meaning 90's happycore. Lots of the records I have from that era are 45's.
