i just knew when this song started to get remixed by the likes of ATB etc etc that the original would be forgotten

*edit*
that really isnt supposed to look as rude as it does lol - so please dont take that personally - just hurts that such a classics getting smeared

I don't know why, but I have a feeling I've heard those lyrics on a 80's song too... can't seem to find it tho :(

I hope that in years to come people don't mistake this pre-pubescent looking "gangstar" as the original artist.

Couldn't agree more. The absolute bollocks that passes for 'music' at the moment is truly mind boggling.

I remember it in the charts as well. Must been 1997ish when I was getting into music. These days if it isn't Urban/Funky, it is embarrassing dance remixes of famous pop tunes or remakes of once good Happy Hardcore tunes.

Funny as I heard the 80s version yesturday lol The 1994 version was well known though, and there where a few remixes that came out after it. Alot of 90s Happy Hardcore tunes where remakes of 80s pop tunes. I wonder how many people know that the original Sunshine after the rain was from 1969?
