I've only been using it for a couple weeks now but I think all you can really use is the presets :/

its a rompler.
There are no oscillators.
There is a filter envelope though!

It's true pretty much; which is why i wonder what all the fuss is about. Your very limited with the sounds you can use and most of them are average at best. You can just create them on pretty much any synth with alot more flexibility. The only good thing about it is some of the pads and maybe a piano or 2; but i wouldn't even use it for those.

least if you buy a proper vst you can make your own...... 100% original

yeah the pack with all the skins and expansions is like 1500 or something...also ya have to admit that the pads are pretty sexy in nexus...if i use it thats all i will use

Nexus is great for that top end of a lead...nice, wide and phat
Leads in hardcore are more about the pattern than the sound. This isn't minimal techno or house. I don't think using a synth other than Nexus for some layers would really impact a track.
