Been listening to quite a bit of Trance lately but don't really know much about it. I was wondering what sub-genres there are for Trance.
I like stuff like this. So what would this class as?

Not clicked the link as im on my fone but we have- vocal trance, progressive, tribal, euphoric, psy, hard, electro and housey trance

interesting itsnt it, cause cheesy trance really isnt given its own genre to be honest, but its two steps away from having a donk put on it, and a few BPM + kick away from being Jumpstyle...
its just trance at the cheesy end of the spectrum almost modern euro-dance

thats not actually trance..its commercial dance..or hands up..but that is quite old
the main genres of trance are...uplifting..vocal..tech...progressive..psy
i listen to alot of trance myself..like pretty much all i listen to and thats not trance

Hm I wouldn't call that Handsup. Or Trance. It's too cheesy.

Oh and.. yeah they Handsup = Euro-Trance, but I think that's wrong, Handsup is much harder.

thats just ambient/downtempo or just basic chillout lol
most genres have cheesy and hard ends of the spectrum in them...its nothing to be embarresed or annoyed about

I was told by a friend that the genre for the video i posted was called Dream House but also known as Dream Trance. How true i don't know. Like i said i've not really listened to that much Trance over the years.
