Hey guys, this is my first post. I'm really into hardcore, mixing and producing, I'm new to the producing part. I'm mixing up a bit of style with a song I just finished. Its called Timely Difference.
tenandthree.com The song autoplays
or the direct download is here.
http://tenandthree.com/Timely%20Difference%20-%20Thirteen.mp3 feedback on the song(and my new website if you like) is greatly appreciated. Thanks all, I hope you enjoy! -Thirteen.

i like quite like the direction you're going. not-so-happy, has that 3/4 beat. still sounds kind of amature-ish but i think you have a lot potential.
the thing i have with it is that it's not memorable, and the piano bit doesn't change often enough to keep me interested in what you have going on here. again, has potential. and there is no harmonies going either, well none that i can hear anyway.
keep it up though. i'd like to hear what else you can come up with.

the piano sounded nice at first, but when the second riff began, it got a bit boring and slightly random. i think you will improve with experience so keep trying! its good to see new faces having a go at the music!

Alright guys, thanks for the feedback!
Umm, I'm using fruity loops to answer your question.
I guess what you guys are saying, is that its too much of a change? like maybe I've made two separate riffs for two different songs? I kind of feel the same way, when I started the first riff, I really liked it, but didn't know where to go with it, and then I made the second one and followed into it. Maybe I could split them into two different songs and make a new intro for the second part.
and make the new song for the first part. Ill give it a go. Or might just end up starting a new song haha

Yeah the very first bit of piano is great but the rest of the track just seems like random note pressing in most places really.
I think you should spend a lot more time studying pro tracks and learning what makes them good but keep at it man.

Yeh, what everyone else has said.
It's reminiscent of Haunted Dancefloor, a track by The Sabres Of Paradise from about 1994/95.
