I'm not sure if this has ever been discussed but I think it would be a great idea to add the option of inviting your HH.com buddies to a certain topic.
I think doing this will get more use out of the buddie system cause tbh, theres really not much use for them as it is. It means everyone can be kept up to date with anything their buddies are up to without having to scan every thread in the forums.
It wouldn't be a problem with over spamming or scaring new comers away with too many invites because we could set it so you can choose to deactivate invites from a certain buddy if you choose & also its up to you if you want them as a buddy in the first place.
I'm sure theres other people on here that know of & use the other popular website i'm talking about. Its a great way to bring you & your buddies together & get to know exactly what their up to not only what they are promoting but other mixes, events, banter, that they think other buddies would be interested in.
Just a thought & I think adding this to the site (if possible) would make a huge difference in bringing the HH.com crew together

no thnx.. if that gets inserted i will delete all buddies :P i hate that spam.. reason i left several facebook groups nd most dsi groups aswell.

but you can choose if u want to be invited or not so why leave?
why not just choose not to be alerted & anyone that wants to use it will leave it as is?
Its taken me a while to see the full potential of it on DSI but it really makes the site tick & the amount of action on that site because of that is unreal! Buddies gettin to know other buddies through their own. Exploring new events, mixes, labels, whatever, that you would never know about otherwise
