Which do you prefer? I have been looking to get an EFX since I saw cotts and silver mix with them. (500 or 1000 not sure yet) but i know the DJM 800 has a load of build in effects as well, so which do you guys prefer?

DJM-800
when you play at a rave that's what you'll use, and the effects are more "useable" than EFX effects

having a LP/HP on each channel can really save your ass

Effects Units lose their novelty hella fast. I got a Kaoss Pad 3 for christmas and was like "yeah! I'm going to use this for sooooo much shit".....it's currently collecting dust, and has been since February.

No doubt, go with the DJM. It has some effects, and you can mix with it too ;p

*gets bored*

I may try to start using it again though. I haven't used it in a while.
