Okay so I'm working on a track atm, and I'd like the vocals to be at the same speed as the piano, the piano is a sample. No wait - I'd like the piano to be at the same speed as the vocals. The vocals are 142.8 BPM and the Piano 150 BPM, it was hard enough to find out how fast each one is so yeah... I'm using Logic on a Mac. Could anyone help? Pew I'm like.. exhausted >.<

Time stretch the vocals.. Why are they at 142.8, thats weird!

Timestretch the vocals to 150bpm, then you're set.

Nope can't put them at a higher speed, it sounds weird coz it's already damn fast.

Could you put the piano at 142.8 for me ? I really don't want to anymore, but I should finish this song today :/ And I send you the piano sample.

Audacity ftw!

Adjust tempo without adjusting pitch, etc

I hate vocal samples. It's such a cheap and easy way to just download a capellas and use them for a song. I always write my own lyrics and record in a studio. It's way more satisfying.

Yea but you're probably not as good as MC Fingaz, and btw, I never said I downloaded it, I got it from him ;)

Oh and btw, I finished the track :)

But you (or at least i) wouldn't want to put out a track with sub par vocals and proffesional vocalists are expensive, from what i hear.

It's all about the originality that makes it fun though. Like, you can say that this is MINE, all mine, not some piano sample that I found on the internet or whatever. It makes you feel closer to your music and is also a lot more creative to start from scratch rather than with several options already made for you.

That said Fingaz is the man so no doubt the sample you are getting is top notch.

I could also have played the sample by my own on my keyboard but the sample has only 3 Notes so why not use it when it comes to the same again ? And also, I make my breakbeats alone, everything, each element, you know how difficult that is ? I think that's enough personality

Yes, I know because I do all that myself too.
