i bought a psytrance cd back in 2000 i think, whilst i was in germany called "guitars and acid" or somthing, it had a fairly trippy cover and was full of psytrance, at the time i dont think i liked it
a few years later and im listening to some mp3 by "shazi" or somthing, who had remixed prodigy and a few others into psytrance and i really like it, then a few months back J00F released psytrance euphoria - and i rather enjoyed alot of the psytrance on that
i think im going to look into that guitars and acid cd again (i sold it back in 2003) give it a second chance! :)

yeah skazi sounds more like it, i dont have any of his music to hand so only had my memory to go on haha (not always the most reliable)
it was only a handful of his songs im refering to...like 2 :P
one was the the firestarter remix..i cant remember what the other one was (maybe there wasnt another?)

I like Psytrance, but I'm picky when it comes to that genre. I like what is being called "Full Power" Psytrance, like Kindzadza & Cosmo, but Dark Psy is my favorite. I also like the Nitzhonot style that, from what I read, was big in Isreal. I got an Agneton cd which is full of Nitzhonot, but I can't find any other cds. If you like the darker stuff of Psytrance, check out the Disco Valley albums off www.psyshop.com They have some great stomper tracks. I will say though, Psytrance does get really repetetive real quickly. The psytrance parties here ONLY feature Psytrance for 10 hours straight, and I just have to leave.

Quite funny to bump into my own name on a forum for Happy Hardcore... :)
I'm of course a big fan of Psytrance, mostly the "Nitzhonot"-style, which emphasizes on big anthemic melodies and powerful percussion. Not really a Darkpsy fan, if I want some fast dark music I prefer Industrial Hardcore etc...

i like it a lot, but dont really follow any particular artists. i like it b/c it reminds me a lot of the progressive trance from the late 90s early 2000s. has a lot of the same speed and energy. might try and d/l some tracks off of juno later this week
