Hey I'm wondering if anyone can tell me any good software synths for leads or good basses. I'd rather get a free one but of course, I will spend the cash if I need to. Thanks a bunch

logic's ES2 is great for leads can pull that dogual and gammer lead heaps easy and ES1 and ESM make getting good bounce'n basses a breeze i would buy if i had to Zebra2 and gladiator 2

Ahaha Yeah I use Logic 8 so I have those synths. I am just looking for something with a bit more "umf" to it. But yes, they get the job done. Thanks for the reply

here is just a few technikore, dougal and gammer leads with 4 layers of ES2 they got plenty of bite when additions DPUs are added i just compressed, did abit of EQ'n and added a limiter for good measure

Damn those are pretty good. Could you do me a favor and send me the channel strip setting so I can see what you did to the sounds to make it sound like that? or show me the parameters to the sounds? I've been trying to build a nice sound for ages now!

Where do you find the ES Leads in Logic ? I also use Logic 8 but it seems like the synths don't get loaded in the browser, when you create a new track.
