Honestly, when it comes to digital, the quality curve isn't that great compared that that of analog equipment. I would expect the DDM4000 to just be nearly as good.

I'm selling my behringer anaolog mixer on ebay if anyone wants it :D

Eh, didn't think it was too big of a deal to put in the forums. Most I'll get off of it is $30 USD if I'm lucky.

But yeah even Behringer's XENYX Analog Series is pretty decent for what you pay for.

I've played on a lot of partys with a Pioneer mixer and I have at home a Behringer DDM4000 so I think I can say that the Behringer DDM4000 is rly close to the Pioneer.

We've arranged also some partys where we used the Behringer DDM4000 and all Djs said, that its rly great. So I think you can go with the DDM4000 ;)

Everyone says the same thing about the DJX700. TONS of good reviews online, because noobs get their mixer and start talking about how good it is. They have nothing to compare it to.

If you think Behringer can make a 300$ mixer even remotely comparable to a 2300$ mixer you are severely deluded. Just the cost of the electronics used in the mixer would cost more than that if they were using audio grade components. ****, you can barely build a *good* 4 channel turntable preamp circuit for that price.

It's this kind of clueless, uneducated comment that lets me safely assume you have no idea what you're talking about.

Most of the "best" mixers in the world are analog mixers. Most of the best sounding sound systems and amps are entirely analog. Stereo Nightclub in Montreal, which had the "best sound sounding system in the world" was entirely analog, including the DJ mixer. Allen & Heath gear like the Xone 92 (which I don't like for hardcore, but sounds good) is analog.

And that's a studio mixer so it's not really comparable to a DJ mixer.

And of course analog cameras are still a very little bit better than digital ones, but nobody buys them.

I know that I have tested both and that they're as good, you have people on here who've said the same thing, yea.. you have never tested a DDM4000 so what do you want to say ? That the price is not as high ? Nice for you, a Toyota is also cheaper than a Ferrari but that doesn't make the Ferrari better at all, because you have no place for bags, you might go repare something every week, parts cost as much as normal car, etc etc. So yea..

Umm, I can name about 100 analog mixers that sound better than a DJM-800 and are very mainstream (I don't like mxiing hardcore on them but nonetheless, your analogy shows how little you know)

A&H Xone series
Ecler Nuo series
etc

Most of the time, digital is actually worse. A/D D/A conversion is lossy/creates artifacts.

And analog mixers aren't necessarily more expensive than digital ones. The mixers I listed are cheaper than the Pioneer series.

Look DainJa, I've used The DJM-800 and the DDM4000. You are OBVIOUSLY going to get a better made piece of equipment when you pay two grand for it but it doesn't mean that the DDM4000 is a bad mixer. In fact, the DDM4000 is a close replica to the DJM and you obviously have a problem with it because it says behringer on it. The quality on that mixer is amazing compared to any other mixer in its price range and that is a good thing because not everyone has that kind of money to spend on a DJM. Yes, the djx sucks ass but this mixer has done a lot for behringer.

Proud owner of a DDM4000 here and it beats the hell outa most mixers. Maybe not a DJM800 but you'll be dropping almost 2000$ less
