boring isnt something that would help him improve..
the tracks okay and well produced, but its not at all uplifting and needs work in order to feel like a proper hard trance tune. the sounds are definately very nice, and sound very good until 1.10 when they feel a bit repetitive. The pads and the buildup is also nice, but takes far too long, and feels empty. It also doesnt seem to lead to much. I'm not sure which part of the song is the melody and which isnt. The melody and chorus simply doesnt hit the spot. I'm not quite sure why. Maybe it needs a sidechain, or something like that. And the sound at 7.25 wasn't too great either :]
Nice try, but it certainly wasn't finished before it was uploaded.

Thanks for the feedback, Acid :)
No, it wasn't finished, far from it :P I just lopped it all together in hope of some feedback and then I'd finish it later ;) Tbh I just wanted to hear what people thought of my sounds, and it seemed lame to just post a short clip, so I built up a song. Didn't expect anyone to call them good, let alone very nice, even though I was pretty happy with them, compared to some of the sounds I've made before ;p Thanks ^^
Also, I agree on the structure of the song being completely ****ed ;) The track is too long, and the melody should probably be 8 bars rather than 4 etc etc :P
Oh and I pumped up the kicks before I exported, I notice now that they tend to drown everything else ^^

It's not the size of the country that counts.

Yeah, hopefully I'll get it finished, I have a knack of having several partially finished tracks lying around :P then they just lie there for a while and suddenly I decide to try and finish them :p
At least I'm progressing :p If you check my MySpace (link in sig), the last 3 or 4 tracks were made the first few months after I got FL Studio :p I love listening to them for lols

True.. it all started with chicago house.. and detroit techno
BUT you yanks are soo ****in irgnorant its the UK who embraced the music (apart from a very fringe element of amercian society.. gay clubs etc)
The Hacienda in manchester, England made a home for your chicago house and made it the dominant music of the 90's..
its bastard child rave/hardcore all came from chicago house but WE made it that way..
You may have been into house in 1985.. when it first started, BUT it sure as hell wasnt the norm.. where as in 1988 in the UK the whole ****in country was into it..
anyway peace to all my yanks hardcore lovers.
Respect.

It took our innovation to to bounce from acid house, to jungle, to d'n'b, to trance, to happy hardcore, to uk hardcore, to other shit aswell.
though, can't take all the glory. Holland played a big part in developing music too.
Anyway, what's up with all this Brit hatred? Is it just a podgey 13 year old american not quite sure what he's saying or why he's saying it?

Harry, are you a wigger? I guess in your backward country the term would be "chav."
