this is a song ive been working on here and there for a few weeks, i need to fix the lead some more and make it longer and stuff.
heard the melody somewhere cant remember from where...
its about 1 min, yes its short, im not done
i really didnt make it a type of genre, i just messed with stuff and played around
bpm=140
so any pointers ?

hi,
its got a pretty melody for sure. i like that!
not sure what u were doing with the drum rolls.. around 50secs..
seems a bit new order 'blue monday' with the drums (which is coll) but they seems out of time.. as though your rolling the drums but then nothing happens in the tune..
normally a drum roll is used to bring somehting else into the track..
sounds pretty though..

I like how its goin.
the melody may sound familiar to you because is the same rythmic pattern that most hardcore tracks use in the melodies, but thats not bad when is used right, here sounds good
I like the begining, but then after a while, its like .... ok, sounds god, now what? try to explore variations to the main melody, breakdowns, etc.
and since is a low bpm track try some more action with the hats, a ride, open and closed hats, that may give it more energy
keep up

i recognise that melody from somewhere.. not sure where though. it sounds good. not great, and theres allot of mastering to be done to make the melody feel like its pushing the song forward.
