hi guys, a couple of new tracks:
- Naturatech - Tribute to Hardcore
my humble tribute to the music I love the most :)
Listen/download: http://www.4shared.com/file/109327700/32cafe72/Naturatech_-_Tribute_to_Hardcore.html - Estados alterados - muevete (Naturatech Bootleg) this is something I've wanted to make a long time ago, the original song is from a Colombian rock band from the 80's. I basically took the main melody and built the track around it. Listen/download: http://www.4shared.com/file/109328151/64545645/Estados_alterados_-_muevete__Naturatech_Bootleg_.html let me know what you think, cheers

I like the first one, very well produced and nice melody but is it me or do the lead and piano not go together? When they are both played at the same time the piano sounds out of tune or off key or something - bare in mind my hearing is still a bit messed up at the moment.
I don't like the second one though, something about the sounds used just makes me want to not listen.

I like the first track a lot. Very happy tune, not what I am used to hear from you, but great indeed.
Thank you for sharing.

I quite like them, the production is good, but it doesnt reflect fully on the end result. I think that might be since your using Reason and the synths as you revealed a while ago, are few and far between...
muevete sounds very good. Lots of little synths and melodies going on with a very solid bass and kick.
tribute to hardcore again is very nice. great melody. The piano riff is a nice one, and the melody is great. However, the track could be better. The sound used for it doesnt lift up off the ground, really. It sounds like a double layer oscillator rather than a full saw.. Also, the 'har-har-har' was a bit off-putting.
The tracks are good ones, and the production is very good, but I think the limitations of reason are constantly holding you back, Naturatech.

lol, I actually used Cubase for these 2... and the synths are from nexus :P
I guess the limitations are inside me and not in the gear... which is kind of sad :(

Love both track sbut the riffs/melodies are a bit too confused to me, try to write more "easy to understand" melodies! I would not use that ride sample in the first tune (use the same as in the second track :P)
On the whole I like your productions

Loving the piano on the first one and otherwise an ace tune too. Need to listen the second one few times more, but was kinda hoping for another tune with spanish vocals :p

Nice tracks
I think the second one is the best, with all the different sounds going on. I'm not a fan of crowd effects, though. In general that is, doesn't matter who made the song.
You could also crank up the bpm to 175-180 ;)
Good job mate, don't worry about limitations, you'll learn new stuff all the time and keep getting better. You're miles above me ;)

Can't really add much to what has been said. I agree with most of the points people have made on how to improve the tracks.
I don't think these seem to have the individuality of your other work I’ve heard either.

Agree with most of what's already been said but
the piano in 'Tribute to Hardcore' is, as Mortis pointed out, slightly at odds with the melody but still works when you get used to it.
What puts me off is the chord structure, which has been used many times in other songs,
when perhaps I was expecting something a little more original.
The second track is very well done and pleasant enough but not really Hardcore enough for me to want to hear it again.
It's refreshingly honest of you not to blame the limitations of your software but at the same time
don't be so hard on yourself!
We never stop learning.... any of us. ;-)

Disagree compleatly, what makes Naturatech's tunes so good are the melodies, and the fact that their not blatantly boring like 95% of hardcore is today.

Not keen on the second track tbh mate. Im not keen on the synths used (and not just cos theyre nexus :p) and ive never been a fan of crowd noises in tunes The track just kind of goes along without really picking up and i feel the melodies arent really all that interesting, sorry mate. It is quite well produced though.
The first track is much better imo. I like the melody in this, and synths sound ok, but when the track shoots up an octave or a few notes, whatever, it sounds very sudden if you know what i mean. Its not anticipated so it sounds wrong for a moment until you have time to get used to it, just like woah you know what i mnean? The breakdown at 03.05, the snare sounds as though its pashing, i dont know if thats intenional but i think it sounds wrong. The choice of sample isnt great, reminds me of some Hixxy HTID cheese-fest. But again its very well produced and has some good parts to it. Sorry for the quite harsh-seeming fedback mate, i try to give as constructive feedback as i can so hopefully it helps.
