Download: http://rapidshare.com/files/228130363/The_Last_Thing_I_Do.zip TLTID is a techno opera about a boy who is coming out of a rough time in his life. He finds a guiding light in a girl he meets walking one rainy day, and warms up to her. After countless months of getting to know her he realizes his true feelings and tells her how she feels. She feels the same, and the boy thinks he has found true happiness. But as the days go on he realizes he was being used by the girl, and loses his mind. From there it is a downhill crash into depression. TLTID flows more like a story than individual tracks on a CD, so I hope you all take the time to listen through from track 1 to track 14. Not all of this music is hardcore. Some of it isn't even techno! I hope those who download this will approach with an open mind and look at the album as a whole, the story, the emotion, rather than looking for the 180 BPM melodic romps. It is mostly hardcore though, so don't worry. You'll find piano ballads, club, rock, punk, and of course hardcore. If you checked out PPF then you heard my song 'Never Let Go.' It was sung by my friend Lauren, who sings on tracks 1, 5, 9, and 10 of this CD. I hope you like it. Thank you.

this sounds awesome mate, I love concept albums and this one looks very interesting, that most have been a lot of work to put it all togheter
downloading right now!
*EDIT* --------
underground music rocks!!, its always so much better, interesting and meaningful that the mainstream. thanks for sharing this man, :D respect!
the production could be far more better but i think thats not important here, you can always learn the technical stuff, the important thing here is the musical value, which is outstanding
i think its very important the way you are not limited to a single genre, and the happy hardcore tracks them selves have innovative elements, not within the average, and we all should learn from that, i've always thought that being open minded is what takes music to the next level and makes it evolve
its interesting the way you sing, I mean its not MCing or poppy singing, i feel it more like indie rock influenced, and thats something refreshing to hear in a hardcore track
after the first listen, "7" is may fav track so far, vocals are so agressive and "in your face!", love it!
"last thing i do" omg!!! thats what i call leave your heart in a track, beautiful!

Agree with Naturatech, great album. Was listening it for the past weekend while i was working.
So far what ive liked:
-huge diffrences in genre, but they worked well together and changing from e.g. rock to Hardcore was done well.
-Really liked the "Intro" for Raping My Mind (the last minute from Streetlights)
-As Naturatech said 7 is a damn fine tune
-Vanity is awesome, loving the piano. Kinda reminded me of Pachelbel's Canon.
So far what i didnt like:
-In some of the tunes the vocals seemed a bit too loud compared to the music.

*writing this while on the last song*
ok so im allmost done with this...
its just wow...
the lyrics are really dark on most of them, witch is good, i can relate
the transition to the next tracks were good, went to some slow happy sounding song, to a dark rock/pop-ish song (if i say so)
it dose need a lil work on the vocals, seems kinda cluttered on a few tracks
i would say this is a good album, might get some friends to listen to it
i really like track #3 city skyline and #5 the worlds end
i didnt really like #6 "7"
there a few songs that need tweaks, a few drum patters sound out of place in a few songs, there is some under runs on track #9 street lights at the end with the pads/strings, one thing i would change sound of the pianos kinda sound to generic, and as whispering said the vocals are over powering at time
sorry for the criticism, i hope you make another album, would love to hear some more
but over all it was a good album 8.5/10
edit:after reading that "about the song" thingy i understand it more, that makes me like it more lol
has true meaning, not like most songs these days

wow! when I checked this thread I thought it was a new track nevermind a whole album. You've been working hard!
The idea behind this album is truly awesome & I love to see people taking "Hardcore" a bit more seriously. I think Hardcore is one of the only "real" Dance genres that struggles to show a more professional & meaningful side & if people don't start putting in the effort & heart that you've put in it may die a death again IMO.
I'm downloading now & will leave some feedback once i've let the whole album sink in. Nicely done Trimms. Keep up the good work bud

some good tracks there! though none of them were "techno", which isnt a bad thing imo, techno is the only form of dance music that i could never really latch onto..
i would agree with what other people have been saying about the volume levels!
really great stuff though, keep it up!
can we ask what sort of Eq you used to get this together?

For recording I use this microphone called the Snowball made by Blue.
For the music I use FL, although all my vocals are done in another program and then moved over, and I mixed the tracks together using Mixcraft.
