Stratovarius is a power metal band form Finland, they are one of the most important bands of the genre and they have been around for a long time, one of my fav bands btw
go to wikipedia or they official web mate, there you'll find anything you need...

Just wanna say thanks...I took your advice and Ive been really liking some of Strato's stuff.
Anyways just wanted to let you know that Amazon has this daily deal where they're offering a FREE metal sampler....they got tracks from Stratovarius, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Dio....cant believe its free. http://bit.ly/MetalSampler You cant go wrong with free stuff.

if you like them, you might like dragonforce. they are from the uk but have a really authentic metal sound. ive been listening to them nonstop lately.
