Have something people want to see, at the moment your site looks like a myspace page. A site for a forum is useless. People dont come here to use the forum, they come here for other things and then they drop by in the forums. If this site only had the forums, we would get little to no new people.

Make it a hardcore warez site. Big downside though is that the only visitors/users would be 10 year old rankin fans and poor jobless chavs.

if you really want more users you need to offer something lots more interesting that this
for some time ago I've been thinking in building a website that people really like, and I still dont have any good ideas, at least nothing that hasn't been done already :(
and even if you have a good idea, it may take months before you see any real movement
either way, having a website is hardwork, try to use other website with massive users, like youtube, facebook, myspace, and post publicity there
