I tried out mixing and been practicing for a couple of days. Would like to get some comments and feedback on this mix - remember it's basic mixing, I don't know much, and I hope I didn't create a train wreck in there! It's a mix of some cheese, some freeform and acid and whatelse - a very experimental mix. First half is happy, second part is rougher. Would like to know how well the tracks go to together, things I should think about for future mixes and what I did good with it (come on, there has to be something, personally I think the transition between tracks 5 and 6 sounds good! :p).
It's 34 minutes long, 128 kbs recorded at 175 BPM. If you want a tracklist - PM me.

It's a computer mix... I ain't got space in my little room for turntable decks though I really want to buy one and try out "real" mixing when I get my own apartment. The problem then is I've got a lot of digital downloads and not a lot of vinyls... lol And my favourites are generally the mp3s. :P
Thanks for the comments, Triquatra.

its a killer really,
3 tracks ive heard recently that i ab-so-lutly love wont get a vinyl release
even though i can buy them for £1.50...its going to cost an arm and a leg to get CDJ1000s
for me, computer DJing isnt an option, anyone can do it and it doesnt require a whole lot of skill..
thankyou for the mix though, gives me somthing to listen to at work - not many people have been posting mixes recently.

Was thinking the same thing!
I refuse to comment on the mixing as its not "propa" mixing Only joking.
Hmm you could have done with bringing in a few tracks earlier. Sounds so dull to me when people leave it that long before introducing a new track. Even if its just 4 bars earlier after the final breakdown, but a few tracks coming in after the 1st breakdown of the track playing out would be good.
Track selection is pretty good mate, cant fault it. Nice and varied, not too much cheese (which i was kind of expecting there to be from you) but yeah good track selection mate. Good mix overall, just need to get yourself some decks and do it the good old fashioned way

Thanks, Meathead. I actually thought so, too, that maybe I could have brought in some of the tracks earlier. I had actually planned to do that with Felt This Way but I don't remember why I didn't. lol
And a big "haha" to the cheese-remark, I know I love cheese but I actually do love freeform, gabber and all that non-cheesy stuff too! :D
Who's Peter Jones? *too lazy to Wiki or Google*
