I imagine you'd have to cut the bass significantly.

Aye, and the tracks ive bought so far have no real intros and outros like any other genre ive mixed before. Straight into the track, so now i suppose i gotta learn about mixing in key so they dont clash all the dam time Might just have to be a keen listener of this stuff and leave the mixing to the pros lol.

To me Grime is just a UK version of Hip Hop about gangsters from South East London claiming they are 'G' because of where they live! Its all 'yo sup G, im from saff eest London blud! proper safe innit boi! you get me yeh?'

I don't know what Dubstep is like though

Yeah i checked out a bit more Grime. Not too keen on it myself though, i cant convince myself im black enough to listen to it

Dubstep is the shit though. Check out the 1st vid i posted on the "Post a tune" thread its called 'Chainsaw Calligraphy'. That's probably the filthiest and weirdest example of Dubstep ive found so far, but there's lighter stuff. All around, from what ive discovered so far, its great tuneage.

I've been listening to dub-step tonight, and I didn't get until I realized it's for Weed Heads, Rastafari... Interesting!

I used to Mc to a hell of alot of grime a few years back, basically just battling sub-urban white lads thinking they were gangsta and showing them a rave Mc could mop the floor with them lol.

Ahhhh, more unnecessary, close-minded musical stereotypes. Lovely, just like Hardcore's for nobody but Chavs and pill heads.
