I think the main forum page could do with some reorganizing. Things could definitely be put into subcategories. For example, we have "hardcore discussion" and then "general discussion," but after that "rumors" where we post rumors related to hardcore. Wouldn't that be better off in the hardcore section?

This is just an outline, but I think it would improve the way the forum looks and navigates.

Bold and underlined is a category.

Bolded is a section.
- A hyphon means that it would be a subcategory.

Just an idea. It would give us more to discuss and would clean up the forum a bit and put everything into its respective category.

i post on a forum in my hometown that is set up that way. it's ease of use is great and it expands the "virtual size" of the forum separating the music from the off topic departments. it gives users more bang and it also separates users that may not use the site to talk about music, rather than to have discussions with other users with other stuff in the world.

I think this should happen. Splitting up the general discussion forum isn't a bad thing, it's a good thing.

Agree with everyone, would defo benefit from some reorganizing. Especially GD split to more sections.

How about vBulletin? It would cost but everyone knows it's the best out there.

For now it would just be nice to consider this though.

My mistake. I meant myBB. It's highly customizable and the admin panel is the best I've ever used.

Nice idea. Should help out clean some of the dirt.

I don't know how silver will implent it, since I don't know much about the Snitz forum code (2000 version), nor how much silver has altered it since then

I am pretty sure he's cleaned it up quite a bit and made some serious changes. Actually, I'm pretty sure it's completely different with a few exceptions.
