one stop gets most stuff.... BPM can be good sometimes they get stuff that one stop and central miss out on. BPM's the only place that stock slightly older stuff, but there's hardly a decent selection. :(
drugs is not the answer... drugs? is the question... yes is the answer

Why would they keep older stuff in that might not sell? You have to remember that they usually only ship about 30 or so units of each tune through sydney, maybe 40 or 50 for a big release... back orders over the years take it higher, but its not worth one stop & central ordering stuff in when it might not sell...
Just go check out the huge pile of stuff sitting in central that never sold...

It seems to me a catch 22. There is not enough records on the shelves in the stores, so people buy off the internet. Yet, if people ordered their records thru places like central station and the like, then maybe because of the increase in demand thru the stores, the stores just might order more records. Also there could be the advantage of getting the records at a cheaper price, I don't know how much it costs to ship records out, but record stores I assume would have arrangements that would reduce this cost. You did have much more variety back in '95 - '96. The area that is the hip-hop area in central used to be all happy hard. Plus what you would find if you struck up a relationship with the record stores, you do get some good discounts if you buy in bulk.
