Apparently, it's not the worst considering I and many others like them.
That's only your opinion (and the others who don't like them).

People on these boards LOVE to state their opinions as the universal truth. I'm slowly getting used to it!
CXH is an excellent Hardcore series, and it contains a huge part of these last years anthems. In the end, it doesn't matter how jealous some people are of the success Hixxy, Styles & Breeze are getting. I just hope they don't browse these boards and read all those useless negative comments.

i personally liked 1, 2 and 4. the previews i've heard from 3 are so damn awful i don't think i'll ever get it unless i can find it for less than $10. i can c y ppl don't like the series. it really isn't tru hardcore imo but that doesn't mean that is completely awful. to each their own of course, but just don't generalize into saying that this whole forum agrees with you, because it doesn't

Well, its just as much Hardcore as any other album. Sure, the majority is just remixes of more trancier dance tracks, but that doesn't mean it's not "true" Hardcore. There have been remixes and re-makes of tracks through all genres of dance music. Some albums contain original tracks, while others contain remixes, but when you are at an event, and you got a Hardcore genre DJ playing both catagatories, you would never know.

Why do you complain so much about the quality of Hardcore? Of course there has to be commercialism to make money so they can make more hardcore. I'll buy this album because I love hardcore. CLXH 4 was not the best in the series!

It'll be interesting to see what they come up with this time. Not a big fan of the series, but it should be fun nonetheless. :)

First I have to see the tracklist. Then I make my decission buying it or not because one of the biggest "hands off" are to many remixes.

Eh?
I don't see what you're getting at here to be honest. People are complaining about the quality of hardcore because some/much of the recent stuff, dependent on you're point of view, has been quite shit. Surely a valid cause for complaint?
I don't want to turn this into a making money v quality arguement, but I'd personally produce commercial dance as opposed to Hardcore if I was wanting to make myself a buck. I wouldn't sell out Hardcore for the sake of money. I don't really like Commercial Hardcore, others will, fair enough. I appreciate that artisits have to make a living, fair play to them, but quality shouldn't be diluted purely and simply for the purpose of making money.

Nobody is jealous of their success. That same old remark heh. If they hadn't of gotten so far up thier arses, then they would be respected a hell of a lot more.
But the constant stufff that surrounds them behind the scenes - sabotaging people's bookings, etc etc if people knew what went on - then they wouldn't be so lavish in thier praises for people like Hixxy.
He was a legened, but his actions towards people and that over recent times has been shocking.

If it sells like the other 4, it won't be the last one! nice to see Craig, your finally not getting albums "just for the collection" and you also haven't heard what's on this one for a change!
Well, i have heard some of the stuff that's on this album - and i wasn't impressed.

I get your point Switchback.
The thing is, I really couldn't care less about UK dj's Rave drama! Trust me, I've got my share over here in Canada. If there is one thing that doesn't affect my opinion on the music the UK producers are releasing, it's their personnal/professional life stories.
What I care about though, is the reaction of the ravers when I play a song at a party. All dj's should care about that. And trust me, everytime I drop a new Raver Baby anthem that I love, I get tons of peoples coming at me and asking me what's the title and who made it. Something about the RBC's music is just catchy, hence why it's so popular. And just so you know, "commercial" dance/hardcore isn't even close to be popular in the mainstream over here, so the argument that their music is popular because it's the only thing that people know doesn't apply here.

because raveland sounds like ass? :P
I wish Hardcore would play in clubs here in Canada, but that ain't happening soon. Instead, we've got those tiny, crappy so-called raves with 300 underage kids not even knowing what kind of music is playing.
