Grabbed this yesterday. Awesome album, what i have been waiting for from them.

Not exactly the same as how it was back in the old days, but you can tell there is some thrash influences there. almost a mix between the nu metal and thrash days with more emphasis on thrash, but they just cant keep up with the speed and energy they had 20-25 years ago. understandable really.

All in all very good, very energetic album would give it 8\10 at moment as i havnt listened to the whole album yet

Have you seen the stuff about the bad production, the clipping/distortion? Just wondering if you noticed any.

Apparently that's the big outrage about it.

i used to be a fan of the mighty M back in the day. my interest started waining at load. reload annoyed me further. and St. Anger really REALLY made me despise em. i ain't overly impressed with the new CD. bought it because 'they were going back to their roots' are they hell. i gave the damned thing away two days later.

go **** yourself. that album was one of the worst things that happened to metallica. it lead to ten years of soft nancy boy crap from a band that is sposed to produce metal
Enter sandman is crap its one of the worst songs on the album.
their best two albums were ride the lightning and master of puppets. two of the best metal albums ever they were.
